Greenway Farms Committees


Architectural Review Board (ARB)

Responsible for reviewing and approving homeowner requests related to exterior property changes to ensure compliance with the community’s governing documents, design standards, and overall aesthetic consistency. This may include items such as paint colors, fences, roofs, additions, and landscaping changes.

Covenants Committee​​
​

Oversees enforcement of the HOA’s covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs). The committee helps identify violations, communicates with homeowners regarding compliance, and works to ensure rules are applied fairly and consistently to maintain property values and community standards.

Landscaping Committee
​

Advises the Board on the maintenance, improvement, and long-term planning of common-area landscaping. Responsibilities may include working with landscaping vendors, reviewing maintenance standards, recommending enhancements, and helping ensure the community’s outdoor spaces are attractive and well-maintained.

Social Events Committee

Plans and coordinates community events and activities that foster neighbor engagement and a sense of community. This may include seasonal gatherings, holiday events, block parties, or other social activities, while working within an approved budget.

Website & Communications Committee

Manages and updates the HOA’s website and other communication channels. Responsibilities may include posting announcements, maintaining documents and forms, supporting email or newsletter communications, and helping ensure timely, accurate, and transparent information is shared with residents.

Special Resident Advocacy Committees

Resident Street Advocacy
Committee

The Resident Street Advocacy Committee is a volunteer group of community members working collaboratively with the Town of Leesburg (TOL) to support the prioritization of single-family residential streets within the Town’s pavement management and resurfacing program.
This committee serves as a liaison between residents and Town staff to:
  • Gather and document community concerns related to street conditions
  • Share information regarding the Town’s paving evaluation and scheduling process
  • Advocate for equitable consideration of single-family home neighborhoods in future paving plans
  • Facilitate communication between residents and TOL representatives
  • Support data collection and submission efforts that may assist in roadway condition assessments
The committee does not possess decision-making authority but works to ensure that the needs and concerns of single-family home residents are accurately represented and constructively communicated as part of the Town’s infrastructure planning process.

Resident Development Advocacy Committee

The Resident Development Advocacy Committee is a volunteer group of community members formed to represent and communicate resident interests related to current and proposed land use, zoning, and development activity affecting nearby neighborhoods.
The committee’s primary focus includes monitoring, evaluating, and engaging with processes associated with:
  • ​TLZM-2018-0005 – Greenway Manor
  • TLSE-2018-0011 – Greenway Manor, School (General Education)
  • TLHPBR2025-0082 – 1221 South King Street
In coordination with the Town of Leesburg, the committee serves as a liaison between residents, Town staff, appointed boards and commissions, and applicants/developers to:
  • Gather and document resident feedback regarding development proposals
  • Track application status, public hearings, and review milestones
  • Share factual project updates and procedural information with the community
  • Identify potential impacts related to traffic, infrastructure, environmental considerations, and neighborhood character
  • Provide consolidated resident input during public comment opportunities
  • Promote constructive dialogue between stakeholders throughout the review process
The committee does not have regulatory or decision-making authority but works to ensure that resident perspectives are clearly communicated and considered during the Town’s development review and approval processes.
